The Swan Hotel and Spa

Thankyou Carly at the Spa for a lovely facial. It was just what I needed and was such a nice relaxing experience. The products smelt amazing and I left feeling really relaxed and my skin was glowing.

Beautiful location, food was lovely and the staff were all lovely.

The only thing was when running a bath, a lot of muck/dirt came from the plug and we had to clean it ourselves to stop it from entering the bath water

We stopped off at this hotel to have a coffee break. The first thing we noticed was that there was a minimum charge for the car park. £7.50 for two hours!!! This is exorbitant. 6 hours was £30!!! Apparently if you buy more than a certain value (no where on the ticket did it say how much) there is some “discount” available. We went inside to the bar/restaurant area for coffee. Staff were friendly and good but a lot of the furniture was somewhat worn out and threadbare in places. Tables looked as they could do with a good clean. The overall feel of the place was that it had been neglected and not looked after. It’s a great location with great opportunities but sadly we shall not be re-visiting.
