"A ski-in hotel with reasonable price"

9.0

Amazing location, right next to a green slope. Amazing breakfast provided. The staffs were so friendly and helpful, they offered to drive us to a nearby onsen. Spacious and well equipped dry room to store the ski equipments.

The entrance is a bit hard to locate, which is on the side of the slope rather than the main road. But all in all, still an amazing hotel and we would still go there again on the next trip.

"Simply one of the best places you can stay!"

10.0

Literally EVERYTHING about this place was fantastic! We are an American family who has taken dozens of overseas trips, and this has to be the friendliest, most professional staff we have ever encountered. The degree of ease that Ski Inn Hakuba makes for a ski/snowboard vacation cannot be overstated. Amazing rooms, amazing facilities, great food options at the hotel or a short walk into town, ski instructors will pick you up from your doorstep, private parking — it has it all. Book with confidence. We will absolutely be coming back.

Nothing.

"Great place with friendly staff to ski in ski out"

9.0

As a ski in ski out location it was excellent. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating.

They had some good but limited food choices. The food was a little bit on the expensive side. I wish they served French fries or chips with their lunchtime sandwiches.

Ski in and ski out is great

The pillows are really soft, not for my personal preference, and I had difficulties to fall asleep

"Absolutely loved Ski Inn Hakuba"

10.0

Hakuba Ski Inn is located towards the top of the green ski run. It is truly ski in & ski out, yet you can still walk down to the Village for the restaurant’s & bars. Windy & her team are very welcoming & made the stay so enjoyable. The breakfast’s were fantastic & great coffee too (even Oat Milk), although that wasn’t available in the morning. We can’t wait to come back!

Transportation is not that easy but Windy & the team are extremely helpful with arranging transportation & even driving guests themselves if there are no available options. Barista Coffee only available after 10am in the morning. With such good coffee it would be so nice with breakfast!

"A cozy piece of slopeside heaven"

10.0

Six stars for the staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful. I looked forward to chatting with them upon return from our ski adventures each day. Nick's assistance with restaurant reservations took away so much stress for us! Lots of places require calling on the phone and my Japanese is just not up to par for that. The hotel ambiance is lovely and the views to the ski slope from the dining area are wonderful. We had lots of room in our room and all of the little nice touches were appreciated (I now have to find roasted rice tea back home because it was so great). The drying rack in the room was a welcome necessity as we had a lot of wet gear every single day. The laundry machines were convenient and easy. The bathroom was a bit smaller than expected, but it didn't bother us. The snow had turned to mush and ponds after all the rain and the staff did an excellent job keeping the parking lot safe and accessible under the circumstances.

The window shade was not totally blackout and there's a light on the HVAC units that is pretty bright. I taped some paper over it and it didn't bother me after that. The hotel is kept pretty cool, so I'd plan to bundle up, even while inside. I wish coffee drinks (espresso, cappuccino, etc.) had been available with breakfast. I understand they are labor intensive and there was just one person managing cooking and serving of breakfast each day. I did just fine with drip coffee but I was staring longingly at that fancy espresso machine I'd heard so much about!
