The Farrier

Lovely period apartment in central Cheltenham, very nice easy walk to shops restaurants and pubs nearby. Top floor and lots of steps so not ideal for the less mobile but otherwise it has all you need. Huge double bed and two singles with two shower rooms. Decent kitchen facilities. A bit shabby and creaky in places but for a house this old to be expected! Lots of character and good views too. Much cheaper than a hotel for a family stay in Cheltenham.

Good location with easy walk to town. Free, off street parking a bonus. Comfy bed and well equipped.

It is a little shabby and needs some tlc - one of the bathrooms has cracked bath panel and toilet seat but, to be fair, I only used the other one which was perfectly nice. It was hot in the heatwave but I imagine would be toasty in the winter - there’s no such thing as perfection!

3rd floor, stairs into property high for person with walking problems. I shower disabled. Rugs and carpets terrible trip hazards. Furniture broken, the use of pallet as coffee table, well, rustic ????? I think message is clear , will not be returning.

The property was adequate for our stay & the location was quite central to Cheltenham. It wasn't near the race course though as advertised. Some of the furniture was uncomfortable, beds were fine. Dont book if you have trouble climbing flight's of stairs. It was a bit like a student flat but overall was good value for money for a family of four with older children. A mixed review!

Location excellent

Property needed some tlc - broken chair, stool in hall was broken - rug in room needs to be fixed down as it is a trip hazard. Door to en-suite didn’t close and handle broken, shower in en-suite had been decommissioned. An issue as the main bathroom shower is very small. More stairs than we had envisaged.

Needed a side lamp in second bedroom and in the lounge More bins needed Toilet seat lid cracked Door handle on the en-suite broken Have stayed here a few times and love it
