Cooktown Motel

The motel was well located, close to the main supermarket. The room facilities were good, with a separate bathroom with a walk-in shower. The main room was a good size with a microwave and fridge.

The only downside was that the free WiFi was weak to non-existent in our room, but it was fine in the public spaces.

The owner was very accommodating & keen to ensure that I had a suitable room.

Closeness to Charlotte St.

nice motel with all the necessary amenities. Pleasant staff , free parking on site and easy check in.

Excellent location... just off the main street. Lots of cafes ro pick from.. the RSL was out favourite place. Lot of history to check out. The lookout was magnificent.They've done a great job down on the water.

WiFi at the motel was very average. But the WiFi at most places we've stayed is like that anyway

Was clean and tidy

Too small and ill-equipped to be called a family room. The booking process was misleading resulting in a call to confirm the family room had a separate bedroom. This was confirmed but on arrival found a single space that had a set of bunks jammed in, presumably where the kitchenette was. There were plates and cutlery but no benches for meal prep ,i.e no kitchenette. Was not good value at Nearly $200 p/n
