Not much

Our room had wires hanging out of the fire alarm. It is law in Queensland to have working fire alarms in all rooms. I have reviewed the other 2 rooms booked in my name. The same thing happened there as well. I have emailed photos with our booking reference numbers

Not much

We chose not to stay there and are requesting a refund. Walking into the room we found the fire alarm not connected. It was sitting on the cupboard. Queensland law requires working alarms in all motel rooms. When we rung booking.com to try and get a refund the manager told you that we disconnected it to get our refund. Blatant lie and I want you guys to know this.

As I approached the office I looked towards the rooms and the exteriors were so poorly maintained i actually thought that the property had been abandoned ...I had to check the address to make sure I was at the right place

"Works well for a cheap overnight stay."

Cheap. But clean and quiet and secure. If staying for some days it has a great communal kitchen. Tea and coffee facilities provided in the room.

No on-suite bathroom but I didnt read the description carefully so my fault. Shared bathroom was clean and good. The motel is a bit tired, but quite functional.

Great gardens, friendly staff

The fact that you could see through the blind from outside. Not having anything, such as a chair, to rest your clothes on while having a shower.
