Casarte Boutique Hotel

We stayed a week in this newly opened hotel and were more than positively surprised the experience. Fabri welcomed us to his fabulous hotel and was extremely helpful! He gave us tons of good tips from restaurant recommendations to tour tips and help with airport transfers etc. He made sure we had everything available for a luxury stay! We will definitely stay here again!!!

Fabri (the owner) is an absolute gem. His work ethic and love for the hospitality industry is admirable. He is always on standby and greatly values the happiness and satisfaction of his guests. Most likely the best boutique hotel in the area!

We ate breakfast outside. There is no breakfast at hotel. We like the tranquility of the Playa del Carmen.

I have never stayed in a hotel so carefully curated before! Each of the six rooms are beautifully and luxuriously decorated - from the lighting to the furnishings to the wall art - and every practicality is available (my favorite were the USB ports). The bed in my room was so comfortable (memory foam!) it was very hard to get moving in the morning! You can tell that this is a labor of love for Fabri (the owner), and I don't think I've ever had a warmer welcome at a hotel - I immediately felt at home. The location was great as well; it's right near the main strip of Playa, but on a quiet side street where you don't hear any of the noise from that area. Fabri was overwhelmingly helpful with local recommendations, arranging transportation, and really took the boutique experience to another level. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - you have to experience it for yourself!

I honestly can't think of anything - and that is very rare for me! I suppose if I were to be really picky, there is no lift in the hotel so if you're staying on the third or fourth floors it might be annoying if you have big bags; but that's about it!

This is one of those reservations that you will definitely make again. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for beginners at Riviera Maya, due to the owners willing to help you at any time with everything. He is very committed to making you as comfortable as possible. He helped us a lot. We were treated as his close friends from the first day there. It doesn't happen a lot these days. Very high standards in guest welcoming, must say. The location is great - just in a sweet spot, on a quiet street. It's a few blocks away from loud 5th ave, but still very close to all the attractions and great restaurants. The building has soundproof windows, so it's very quiet at night. The small kitchenette in the lobby has the reverse osmosis system installed, so you have access to good quality drinking water. There is a fridge and a caffee maker in the common area. The rooftop is open for all guests. The rooms are very spacious. The interior design is just so beautiful. Good Wi-Fi, spacious showers and good quality mattress. You will definitely get a quiet, causey, home-like atmosphere . We felt really comfortable.

100 out of 10!!! The whole stay experience exceeded my expectations! You feel at home, but a very nice, boutique artistic home - straight from the Architectural Digest magazine :) The owner of the hotel is beyond helpful, nice and fun. Cannot wait to stay there again!

A PERFECT PLACE FOR US, in the middle of everything but absolutely quiet , we reserved the suite with the Jacuzzi and we enjoyed it too much. The owner told us the paintings and the murales in the bathrooms was made by an Argentinian Artist , the woman painted in the bathroom is incredible , it was like some in the bathroom all the time you get in, I don't know how to explain but definitely a nice thing, I've discovered at the end of my stay It is very difficult to describe this place, definitely something out of ordinary.

Casarte Hotel was something out of a designer's dream! Every single detail in this hotel has been thought through. Not only is it comfortable, clean, and close to everything, but it is also so COOL! Every room has something different and beautiful to offer. Not to mention how accommodating the proprietors are, they helped us arrange an airport transfer, recommended the MOST amazing cenote tour, and helped us with some dining suggestions. We will be back!!
