Amadi Beach Front Resort

The location of the resort gets 9 points out of 10. The beach is just 50 mts from the resort.

The asthetic and ambience is not worth the money. The swimming pool looks looks like a water tank. Cleanliness needs to be thought through.

Amadi accommodated my request last minute, and managed to get me into a room with a sea view! Their staff is very professional and helpful, and the location is on a quiet-ish beach (their club is currently closed and this was over the first weekend in January!). Would stay here again.

I checked in around 11pm; the room was not pretty; then I saw BUGS in the bed, and I noticed I didn't have a cell phone. Even when I went to the balcony, I found the room phone was broken. So I went to the lobby lobby & a bunch guys look at me a piece of meat. Then the guy behind the desk tells me the WiFi is down, If I need to make a call I can call from the lobby. I tell him it's not safe if I can't reach my family from my room. The front desk guy tells me not to worry his men will protect me (the same men looking at me like a piece of meat.) I am feeling very UNSAFE. I came back to my room and found that I really couldn’t secure the balcony door. There are no deadbolts, and the keyhole is outside (believe it or not, they have ladders in India) & The same goes for the bathroom. I left the light on in the room then i dragged the mattress into the bathroom and barricaded myself in until 5:45 am. I was able to get messages out to my sister & boyfriend periodically throughout the night. But all in all WORST hotel experience EVER! I certainly didn't stay the whole time planned. THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL THIS IS HOW WOMEN DISAPPEAR Still trying to get some or all of my money back.

The breakfast spread was quite good. The service at the Restaurant was fast. The property is green, well-kept, full of flowers and looks eco-friendly. The property is right on the beach. They welcome pets, and dogs quite warmly. We were not charged extra for pets unlike other resorts.

I think the food price is too expensive. One spends as much on food as on room rent.

Helpful staff. Great location on the beach front.

Beds were hard as rock.

Everything was not what I would expect. I did not spend a single night there … lost all of my booking money too. Very very disappointing

Good and bad: GOOD: This place is in a perfect place by the beach.They have a small but nice and cool pool. The restaurant has a nice view over the ocean, the food is ok, BUT BAD: We do not find their menues transparent enough to show that they add a liquer-tax of 22% plus 9 +9 % other tax. Other places there that we visited did not do that, their prices were all inclusive. Room: the room we got had a bed that was obviuosly not checked before handing over the room to us. We found paper crap and sugar under the pillows. They changed sheets when we complained. The day after we were offered to change room since the bathroom smelled horribly. When moving two mice jumped out from behind the refrigerator in our room. The new room we got was ok, but we still think the first room should have been checked better. The manager agreed with that and apologized. But all in all it is a nice place to stay!

Very good place Right on the beach total raw and goan touch and feel. Services were limited but very good. Rooms were decent but comfortable for the family. Restaurant was also limited options but very tasty dishes especially fish and prawns. Staff was well mannered and helpful. Ibrahim and shiva took extra care for us Thank you
