DYSA Bloomfield House

Fantastic location within walking distance of Blackpool front, really spacious and great facilities, we were a group of friends with 5 children between us and it was perfect, we had a fantastic stay.

Was a little unclear on check in process to collect keys from lock box, it wasn't clear we would be contacted at 15:00 on the ditched with a code.

The house itself was more than sufficient to accommodate our party of 6 children and 4 adults. The property was clean on arrival, with plenty of bed linen, towels which was all clean and fresh. The kitchen is a good size with all the equipment you would need with more than adequate utensils crockery and cutlery. CATCHING UP ON SOME OF THE PREVIOUS REMARKS..IT SEEMS THIS HOST DOESNT CARE ABOUT UPCOMING GUESTS..AS IT SEEMS THAT THE BENCH HAS BEEN MENTIONED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS...LOOKS LIKE A ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN

1. The bench in the dining room had been previously poorly repaired as when we sat on it ,the bench partly gave way luckily not completely collapsing. On inspection I could see that it had been repaired as there is new wood and screws securing what had been damaged previously. We were reluctant to use the bench again so as we only had use of 1 bench some of our party had to sit on the floor to eat . 2. We were unable to use the sofa bed in the in the lounge as 1 of the back legs gave way on inspection the leg and screw fitting had collapsed Into the sofa, you could clearly see that it had already been broken before our stay. We had remove the other leg so we had something to sit on, as we were unable to use it to sleep on I had to use the other sofa and my 69 year old wife had to double up with 1 of my grandchildren. 3. Both toilet seats were very loose and inadequate which made my 3 year old granddaughter who has just been toilet trained very nervous to use the toilet therefore we had to purchase a potty for her to use. 4.The shower pole fitting is not fit for purpose as it is not secured and kept falling down so the only way that you could shower was by holding the spray in your hand . 5. No broom or carpet sweeper available only a dustpan and brush which had seen better days there was a mop but it was extremely dirty.

Access into Blackpool central was easy, the property is spacious and has all the amenities you need.

Only parking for 1 car available. Walls and furniture is all scuffed and needs a refresh with paint.

Location okay but not great

The house outside had rubbish and electric box beside door was all broken . Inside needed a clean , carpets and walls were marked . Bench in eating area was broken had to prop it up , outside was full off weeds and patio area was a mess . This was not representative off site photos .

Property was in very good location, it was clean and as we arrived earlier we could check in earlier as well. Customer service was very good. Very spacious property and as we had 5 children with us it was fantastic for them as well.

Painting is warned of and could do with refreshing and downstairs toilet have a bit unpleasant smell

Spacious and close to the beach

The rooms and plan were spacious.

The whole house is a bit run down, the shower fell on one of my guests head, the tvs didn’t work (downstairs would only work on YouTube) which wasn’t a big deal as we were out but a little annoying for the others that stayed behind to chill one evening. it could do with a paint and a touch up. Also the freezer was just one big ice cube it could do with a defrost 🤣

Nothing

The house was very dirty and unhygienic. There was mould going up walls, skirting boards missing. It stunk of wet dog. When you turned the water on in bathroom or kitchen it started leaking into the back garden. Never stayed anywhere so dirty and smelly.
