We cannot recommend Lavender House highly enough. Everything about our experience was absolutely wonderful, the venue itself, the breathtaking views, the delicious food, and the overall atmosphere. However, what truly made our experience unforgettable was the kindness and dedication of the people who work there. We chose Lavender House as the venue for our wedding, and from the very beginning of the planning process, the team was there to help us with everything. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect and that we felt supported every step of the way. On our wedding day, they were by our side from start to finish, helping, encouraging, and caring for us in a way that made us feel as though we had family with us. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness meant the world to us. We are especially grateful to Damith and Rawindra , whose support and hard work helped make our wedding day truly magical. Thank you for creating memories that we will cherish forever. We are already planning our return and cannot wait to visit again. Thank you, Lavender House, for everything!

"Perfect Tea Plantation House"

Beautiful plantation house. If you want to stay in a period mansion, this is the right location. The food was excellent. The staff takes care of everything.

The directions (road signs) to the hotel needs to be revised. Our driver missed the road couple of times. I guess he was also not familiar with the area.

"A very special experience with the most wonderful staff . Felt like royalty !"

The most beautiful , peaceful setting in the tea plantations. Staff were super helpful and friendly . House is super spacious . High tea , dinner and breakfast were all exceptional . The manager even organised some beer and wine to be collected in a tuk tuk for us from the local bottle shop. Great value for all the meals and accomodation . A very special stay .

It is a magic place in the middle of tea plantation, old mansion nicely restored and decorated. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. One of the most memorable place in our trip in Sri Lanka

The location and the view

The afternoon tea, some part of the hotel were closed and the room had no blinds and not enough hot water to have a shower. Overall pricey for what it is
