Our stay at this hotel was absolutely delightful. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm and welcoming. The manager, Saman, made our experience truly memorable — he personally arranged a wonderful tea factory tour, surprised us with a charming afternoon tea, and even offered a room upgrade. His kindness and attention to detail made us feel like valued guests. The hotel itself is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of character. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Btw: I would say the chef is the best chef in this country!

まるで夢のような滞在でした。マネージャーのSaman、Thisara とPrasanaは私がどのように過ごしたいかを察知して、さりげなくサポートしてくれます。食事は何をどのように調理してほしいか、シェフが希望に合わせて作ってくれます。特に朝食のhopperは、これまででベストでした。 ティーガーデンは朝もやに包まれたり、夕焼けに染まったりして一日中眺めていても飽きません。乾いた穏やかな風はプロバンスの山の中と似ています。鳥の歌う声と木々をそよぐ風の音の中でプールに浸かるのも素敵な時間でした。1人旅でも、家族旅でも、最高の時間を過ごせる場所です。 これまで数々の高級ホテルを利用してきましたが、The Ravendar Houseは最高のホスピタリティや設備があるにも関わらず、この価格は低すぎるように思います。必ずまた来ます！次回は3泊したいと思います。スタッフの皆さんありがとう。

The road is little bit rough.

The team was simply amazing. The location is beautiful. The accompanying is comfortable and homely.

We spent 3 incredible nights in the Lavender Suite and were warmly welcomed with tea and refreshments. The suite is luxurious and filled with colonial charm. The setting in the tea plantations is absolutely stunning and so peaceful. The staff made our stay unforgettable with their warm hospitality and 5 star service, and the chef spoiled us with high tea and delicious 4-course dinners (plenty of meat for my husband!). Every meal was discussed and personalized to our preferences! The hotel also arranged for us to visit a nearby tea factory and the spectacular Rambada waterfall. It was a magical, relaxing stay that we will never forget! A special thanks to Vidhu and Saman for taking such good care of us!

Hot water for the bathtub was a little unreliable

This is a really stunning hotel high on the hills in the tea plant country - it’s got fabulous views and the rooms are beautifully well decorated, good aircon, comfy beds etc. We arrived in the late afternoon to be greeted with afternoon tea on the terrace and the children played cricket. The pool was lovely but cold! Food was very generous and you can discuss with the chef what you’d like for all meals. We enjoyed the food and had a hot stone cooking experience as well which was great. There were only a couple of families there when we we there and we all ate in slightly different parts of the hotel - we had the formal dining room, Staff were good and wanted to help - we had a really lovely stay!

The hotel is up quite a bumpy drive so if coming from kandy, don’t take the first sign post, carry along your the second one as it’s a much better drive! The hotel is also about 1.5 hours from Kandy which is worth being aware of if you want to use as a location to day trip - it didn’t matter to us as it’s so pretty but worth knowing. The staff are very attentive, it can feel a bit much but their intention is good. Rooms mostly have bathtubs and not showers - there is a shower room you can use, but just be aware when you book.
