El baño era muy incómodo no había ducha solo bañera. El desayuno muy deficiente. Y estaba alejado de todo. Si tienen días de sobra en SL no importa porque el sitio es realmente maravilloso pero con el tiempo ajustado supone un desvío considerable

We had a wonderful stay! The house felt especially cozy in the rain, with beautifully decorated rooms and stunning views. Saman was an excellent manager—thank you to Thisur, Prasanna, and Supun for taking such good care of us. The kitchen team was fantastic (don’t miss the tea cake!).

The only downside was the steep, rocky road, which made driving a bit challenging.

We had the most unforgettable stay at The Lavender House in Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views all around—truly a piece of paradise. We were welcomed with a wonderful surprise: a room upgrade to what felt like a private, luxurious villa. The space was unbelievably spacious and beautifully designed, offering total comfort and privacy. As we were celebrating our honeymoon, the staff went above and beyond to make it special with lovely welcome snacks and a room decorated with such thoughtful detail—it meant so much to us. Our personal butler was exceptional—attentive, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed. One of the highlights of our stay was a scenic tour organized for us, and they even packed a delicious lunch box, which was such a considerate touch. This is the highest rated hotel we have stayed in from booking.com and it did not disappoint. It is perfect for those looking to unwind and relax. The bungalow is charming and based in the middle of a tea planation. The views are exceptional. The best part of the hotel is the staff because they go out of their way to meet every request you have when it comes to comfort and food. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend everyone to visit and experience the hospitality. Thank you Saman, Heshan and team for looking after us.

One of the nicest stays we had. Luxurious bungalow with clean rooms with all amenities. The attention to detail of the people there is next level. Even on very small things. Manager Saman was really helpful and showed us around the property. All caretakers were very friendly and was treating us with utmost respect and care. Food was amazing and the chef made sure we get the right food. We felt like taken cared by personal assistants. We will come here again for sure.

A magical hotel nestled in the middle of tea plantations. The service is exceptional, and every staff member is kind and attentive. Breakfast is served by the pool, and the staff constantly strives to pamper the guests and make their stay pleasant and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

This is a stunning bungalow set amongst beautifully lush gardens and surrounded by a tea plantation. It is best suited to those looking to unwind, relax and recharge in a peaceful setting. The staff were exceptional, very attentive and always greeted you with a smile, this included all the grounds keepers...I lost count as to how many there were! The food was tailored to personal preferences, with the Sri Lankan dishes being a real stand out, they were delicious! As a tea lover the visit and tasting at the plantation was a highlight, as was waking up to that view from the bay windows of the Lavender Suite. You are able to walk the grounds and watch the tea pickers weave up and down the hillsides. They were all too happy to stop for a photo and interact with the guests of the hotel. We enjoyed our trip and would recommend you visit the team and experience the hospitality for yourself. Thank you for looking after us! :)

Most amazing service, best hospitality, the manager Saman did everything to make our stay very pleasant. Special thanks to Viduna and Hassan, who help us with everything, they were the kindest people we have ever met. Special thanks to our chef Denura, who made every meal delicious. What an incredible experience we had at Lavender house. The welcoming staff were attentive but unobtrusive & our private butler went above and beyond and always had a refreshing cold drink at hand. Thanks Viduna! The meticulous grounds surrounded by breathtaking views & all the local wildlife was wonderful. Loved the fresh flowers in our room. The passionate chefs surprised us daily with quality & great attention to detail. Loved our private cooking class! This place will hold a special place in our hearts.
