Shower in room needs to be better, shower head does not work properly. A/c turns off when not in room and with temperatures it gets very hot when you return.

A peaceful and stylish stay right on the Aegean Coast 🌊 My husband and I stayed at Gaia by the Sea in Çeşme, İzmir for a week and truly enjoyed every moment. The hotel is located right by the sea, with its own pier and beach front—ideal for a relaxing holiday. The breakfast, which is included in the rate, was very good and a lovely way to start the day. The rooms were beautifully designed in calm beige tones, exceptionally clean, and well thought-out. We especially appreciated the king-size bed, high-quality sheets, towels, and peshtemals—all very comfortable. We had requested two ergonomic pillows in advance, and they kindly made sure to have them ready for us. The staff were kind and welcoming throughout our stay. Special thanks to Zeynep Hanım, who responded promptly to all our messages via Booking.com. Everyone—from the night and day receptionists to the bar and kitchen crew and housekeeping team—was helpful and warm. Even the owner was present and checked in with us personally a couple of times, which added a nice personal touch. While the price is on the higher end by Turkish standards for a bed & breakfast, the overall experience made it worthwhile. We definitely recommend Gaia by the Sea for a calm, elegant, and sea-side getaway. 🌅

Everything was wonderful overall. If anything, there’s room to improve the coffee and tea options at the bar, and perhaps offer a few more healthy snack alternatives during the day.

Staff attitude and service.

The food and their restaurant was simply amazing. Quiet area, perfect to escape the busy Turkish cities. The lady at the reception is very attentive and organized special bread for me due to intolerances.

We really enjoyed our stay but the price is just too high. For 500€ per night you expect a certain standard: the pool has 40 degrees (at least in summer) so you cannot use it, the pump is only covered with a wooden board, breakfast is basic - they charge you for cappuccino, meat (sucuk) and vegetable omelettes. Shower had a bad smell at some point. The location is quiet but not in the nicest area. The ocean view is overlooking a power line and lots of wind turbines. As mentioned above, food is amazing but prices in the Rituel restaurant are crazy expensive.

The place is beautiful, elegant, and very quiet. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the service is truly excellent. Every detail is well taken care of from the moment you arrive until you leave. Definitely a place worth visiting again.

It was so private! We loved it. The location is about 15 min to cesme or alacati, but we loved being by the water and the little private beach. We loved having our own thermal bath. It was my fav part. The food was amazing. Best food we have had so far in Turkey - fresh clean and unexpected flavors. Amazing hospitality. They helped my bf arrange flowers and wine to surprise me.

My wife and I stayed here for a few days, along with some friends as we were all in the area for a wedding. I couldn’t recommend it more: the size of the property is ideal at just 11 units (ie MAXIMUM 22 guests at a time); if you don’t have children the adults only policy ensures perfect peace and quiet; the staff are wonderful; and the setting is extremely relaxing. The breakfast is delicious and the on site restaurant serves some phenomenal dishes. Some reviews noted the price for dinner — indeed, not “cheap” but for the level of cuisine it’s truly not a bad deal at all (though not formally awarded — yet — the food is clearly Michelin level and there are fancy places in town you’ll pay close to this). So if you’re there, do dinner one night — you’ll be impressed. Again, super accommodating staff — my wife and I had a late flight for which we only needed to leave for the airport at 5pm. Despite a noon check out we were given use of another room free of charge so we could still spend the day swimming and then shower and change before our flight. This made a huge difference to the last day.

Zero dislikes at all. Keep in mind though that this specific Gaia property is not in town (we intentionally chose Gaia by the Sea to be outside and enjoy the water). But you can very easily catch an inexpensive taxi (which the hotel will call for you) into Alaçatı which takes 10 minutes, so hardly an inconvenience!

Great rooms, great breakfast, limited choice but very high quality. The rooms are very clean, they remove the large rugs to clean them for each guest, it's the first time I've seen this so regularly in a hotel! The staff is very friendly, the hotel owner attentive to customer comfort.
