Goldwynn Resort & Residences

Our trip to the Goldwynn was simply amazing! It is a stunning quiet hotel with a great beach and pool! The service was great..I want to shout out Mia who was a call center agent who got everything ready for my arrival and securing my room..Cameron helped too when she was out of office. D’Alyah was so helpful with setting up my private transportation from the airport. Erin was also helpful when my flight got delayed. Overall the property is very well kept up and clean. The only downside was there is one restaurant, so we walked to Bahamar every night to eat, but not bad at all because that’s an easy beach walk and lovely property too. Overall very impressed and enjoyed the relaxing time!!

I enjoyed our stay at the Goldwynn very much. The staff was helpful and friendly. The accommodations were lovely. The property was clean and stylish. We loved the Pool and beachfront.

Smaller and quaint

La struttura è bella e anche la posizione è buona però personalmente ho avuto una brutta esperienza con la mia stanza. Intanto ho ordinato una vista mare e mi hanno dato una a piano terra sulla piscina. La stanza 105 per la precisione. La notte ho avuto prurito, la mattina mi sono svegliato ed avevo ai piedi e parte bassa delle gambe tutte punture. Sono stato in farmacia e mi ha detto che erano acari e mi ha dato pomata e antistaminico. Ho fatto presente alla reception ed è venuta la manager in stanza, hanno cambiato lenzuola e dato uma pulita. La seconda motte ho avuto altre punture e ho dovuto dormirei vestito. Per me era il tappeto. A piano terra c'è puzza di umidità. Allego foto della mia gamba

I would like to share a very disappointing experience we had during our stay at the Goldwynn Hotel. On our first night, we were abruptly awakened around 5:00 a.m. by a security guard aggressively banging on our room door and shouting, apparently because our door was not fully closed. The situation was extremely frightening — we genuinely thought it was a robbery or an emergency. If it was absolutely necessary to address this issue at that hour, the appropriate and reasonable approach would have been to call our room, not to send security to pound on the door in the middle of the night. Beyond this incident, we found the overall attitude of the staff to be consistently unpleasant. Employees rarely greet guests, do not smile, and often come across as rude and unwelcoming. On one occasion at the bar, we ordered a drink and asked to charge it to our room, which is standard practice at most hotels. To our surprise, the waitress told us we had to pay immediately and in cash, with no clear explanation, which left us confused and uncomfortable. Additionally, we had made a dinner reservation at the hotel restaurant for 10:00 p.m. When we arrived at 9:50 p.m., no one seemed to be aware of our reservation. We were then informed that the kitchen would close at 10:15 p.m., meaning we had to rush through the entire ordering process. A reservation should not be offered for 10:00 p.m. if the kitchen is closing shortly after. As a result, we felt uncomfortable and pressured throughout the entire meal. Overall, the service lacked basic hospitality, warmth, organization, and professionalism, which is not what one would expect from a hotel of this category.

Hotel was very nice, rooms were very comfortable, staff were very friendly. However, room service was terrible. People that answered the phone for room service were unfriendly, it took forever to arrive at our room and the quality of food was not good at all, sometimes almost inedible. They definitely need to improve on that. Disappointing that the bar/restaurant by the pool stopped serving food at 5pm. This should be a place that you should be able to have dinner. If these 2 things could be improved/changed then we would plan another stay but we won't be going back otherwise. Expensive!
