Pet friendly Everything we asked granted. Staff very accommodating and very friendly. George was generous with our breakfasts on 25/8/25 check out morning. Thank you. Will stay here again in future

Would like fire doors leading to upstairs. Need easy access for disabled person upstairs. Uneven step from entrance to staircase. Found big hole where our cat could escape or hide fortunately I checked around before letting him out of cage.

Exceptional service from the owner/manager and great food which was definitely worth making a detour for.

Good English breakfast, very nicely cooked. We liked the ground floor 'cottage' room with own door straight on to the car park where there was plenty of parking space. Room was nice and cool in spite of hot weather, and we could have the window open. Bed very comfortable. Enjoyed chatting to our friendly hosts.

Minor issues - we couldn't reach the light switches for the bed lights, from the bed. The toilet was in a rather narrow space perhaps because it was fitted into an old building.

Clean , comfortable beds, not noisy at all which is very important for me. Shower worked well

Very cramped accommodation. The weather was warm and it became uncomfortable at night - while AC for occasional use may not be necessary - a fan would have been appreciated. Only 3 tea bags and my friend was given only 1 so we could not have a cup of tea on arrival after a long journey as well as one in the morning. ( In fact my friend had her's on arrival so we gave her one of our 3 for the morning !)

Very welcoming. Cosy clean room. Great pub and food. Lovely full English breakfast too!

Once Real Ale offering was sour but other bitters excellent.

Friendly staff, lovely setting. Sitting in the beer garden overlooking the view was a highlight.
