A traditional pub. Kind friendly host. Good coffee. A well equipped, clean, nicely decorated bedroom with comfortable beds. Exactly what we'd been looking for.

No reply to email enquiry regarding breakfast. No bedside lights.

Gorgeous location, very clean and comfortable room with modern good quality fittings, good food and excellent beer. But the best thing was the staff and management who were so friendly and generated a great atmosphere. Well worth making the effort (and the hills are steep there!) to walk up to the Cotswold Way.

The pub is in a lovely village, The room was everything we needed, the bathroom was large and the shower was exceptionally good. We were going to Badminton Horse Trials and the location was perfect, just under 30 mins to the park avoiding the main routes and queues.

we had dinner which was reasonable, there had been a big order before ours so we waited almost an hour and when it came the meal was warm rather than hot however by then we were so hungry we ate it without complaint.
