The Star Inn

The Star Inn made us feel at home straight away, exceeding our expectations. Both meals and breakfast where excellent and great value for money. A good bar in a very laid back comfortable pub which is exactly what we wanted. The room was quiet, very large with a good shower and clean.

The new kitchen sink and surrounding area was not completely finished which they did apologise for.

Couldn't fault it.fantastic room and really lovely and friendly staff made you feel at home.Excellent restaurant and service and would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in stroud.

Nothing to dislike.

We had a wonderful two nights stay! George & Grace looked after us so well from checking in, during stay and checking out. They even gave us free dessert! The food was delicious also.

Staff were wonderful, the room was clean and food and beer were nice. Only downside on me was that the kitchen didn’t work because it was under renovating, but it doesn’t matter.

Bed was good. The staff in the bar were good.

The car park was full of junk and staff had there cars parked outside the rooms so bags had to be dragged over the dirt into the rooms.
