Shongwe Oasis

The staff were exceptional. Always polite, smiling and willing to assist in any way. The hotel is very tranquil and lovely sitting in the dining area near the pool just taking it all in.

The staff could not of been any more helpful, they were very kind and full of information, and helped booked a lovely river cruise. Excellent service, thank you so much. Beautiful gardens. Super comfortable and big beds.

Pool wasn’t as big as expected.

We had a lovely welcome to the hotel with smiles, cold flannels along with a drink on arrival, straight from the airport after a long journey from UK, so this was a great start to our stay here. We stayed in the Honeyguide room, complete with its own private garden and outdoor shower - such a lovely touch and wonderful to be able to shower outside…. Our room was spotless, well equipped and beds comfortable. We were able to check in early which we both appreciated after the long flight. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choices on the hot menu. It was nice to be able to sit outside surrounded by the garden, overlooking the pool. When we left the hotel, the waiter filled our drink flasks up with ice along side cold water, which was a nice treat for later in the day.

Nothing apart from the towels were abit thin and worn and the fact there was only one towel per person rather than having a smaller towel each too for hair washing. Our booking included a late check out, but this was not the case for us, however it would have been very useful..
