Shongwe Oasis

From the moment we stepped in we were greeted by the most warmest welcome from Johannes, and he continued to pamper us till we departed. He was amazing and we would not have had the same experience had it not been for him. The property is stunning, it’s a little piece of heaven tucked away in the most unassuming location. Just a stones throw away from the stunning falls and close to anything you may need. Food was delicious, service was excellent, Johannes was able to arrange all tours and activities, and assist with even the most peculiar of requests. We visited the spa, awesome experience and the view from the lookout was breathtaking.

Very nice low key hotel with lovely mature gardens. Very friendly and attentive staff alway around to assist if required. Nice room with outdoor seating area. Small but nice pool for a cooling dip. Not many sun beds. Free bikes which we used to go to town which was fun. $6 taxi into town. A very enjoyable stay.

Really enjoyed the food served and service, nice friendly staff who were very helpful with anything that was requested. Didn’t use the pool but looked very inviting. I would have no problem recommending Shongwe Oasis for anyone wanting to stay at Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

I can't recommend Shongwe Oasis enough! The room was beautiful and so comfortable. They had the best mosquito nets I've seen and the room felt really secluded while being steps away from the pool and reception. The food and coffee were absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly kind and so helpful. They made great suggestions on restaurants, taxis, and activities, took care of the bookings and made it a really seamless experience. We also really enjoyed having a hot tub. It was a bit cooler and having the hot tub after a long flight was lovely. No one was using the facilities so we had it all to ourselves and the restaurant team even brought us coffees to enjoy while we soaked. I would absolutely stay here again.
