One South Place Hotel

This is gem of a inn bed and breakfast are owned by Judy and David, two of the kindest warmest inn keepers. They and their staff did everything possible to make a traveler welcomed. My Capt. Room, as it is named and nautical themed was fantastic. The inn is on the quieter side of Belize City, but easy walking to distance to all water taxis and points of destination. The clean appointed room and facility was worth every penny.

Judy is the owner , and is so friendly. Great breakfast in the hotel the following g morning.

I felt like I had known the owners for a long time, they make you feel right at home. David helped me order some food to be delivered to the hotel because it was getting late and it was a long 24 hours of traveling. Short walk to the harbour and to the ferry to Caye Caulker and San Pedro.

The property was very clean. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The hosts really made you feel at home. I would highly recommend staying here!

Welcoming experience, lovely clean rooms. Friendly hotel staff. Lovely to sit on balcony to relax and observe the wildlife namely parrots, and flycatchers. Also wonderful view of the sea, and Baron Bliss Lighthouse... The owners David Craig, and his wife on hand to help, and give guidance and Lincoln our caretaker gave exceptional service.

Staff was great, area was not great but there really isn’t a nice area in Belize City.

Quiet, very accommodating. The room was beautiful. If you need dinner, you will have to food elsewhere. Breakfast is available for purchase.
