One South Place Hotel

We were treated like family!!! Everyone there was extremely nice and caring. Our room was pristine and so were the amenities. The breakfast restaurant was delicious and the pastries and baked goods they sold were out of this world. Mrs. Judy, took such good care of us and even accommodated some special requests for the rooms. 10/10 hands down.

Staff is very nice. The place is clean and cozy.

*****Our seven day stay at One South Place occurred rather unexpectedly as a referall for a local belizean breakfast restaurant after we discovered that the hotel where we were staying had closed their restauant for the month of September! My husband and I were adamant that we did not want a grab and go food stop or a make shift place to eat. One South Place delivered! The best belizean breakfast cusine ever. We ate our hearts and waistline out! Judy and David were warm and welcoming. Judy greated us with big hugs and offered us the best room available as she said "David and I want you to have a great experience while in Belize" We Did. The historic history of One South Place address goes back to the 1800s however, the restoration was modern with the furnitures made from local Mahogany wood, and the decorations are a nautical theme to reflect Belize and the liestyle of the original owners. We will definately stay here again. Al & Rose Skeete.

Now Your place is Amazing, good location, close to banks, stores, water taxi to cayes ,comfortable, clean, accommodating, great staff, food was delicious, would definitely stay again. thanks

The staff treated me as if I were family. It was located in a quiet neighborhood, but yet close enough to walk to downtown and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.

This place is a diamond in the rough. A beautiful treasure to admire right near downtown and the ocean. The owners and staff was so friendly and kind. The security guard. Was so accommodating. The room we stayed in was comfortable and quaint. This is the type of experience you would not get with bigger hotels. The breakfast the next morning was a tradition Belizian experience. It was exquisite. Made to order fresh food. I’m in love with fry jacks. Thank you for making me feel at home in your wonderful establishment. ❤️❤️❤️

One South Place saved our vacation. We arrived in Belize to find that our reservation at a known name hotel got canceled. To accommodate us we were given a free night at One South Place in Belize City with the hopes of sorting out our reservations the next day. From the time my husband, daughter and I arrived we were treated like family by the staff and the owner who we affectionately started calling Ms. Judy! Her hospitality and knowledge of her country prepared us for the next 6 days of fun, as we elected to continue our stay at her hotel. Ms. Judy learned that we were celebrating my birthday and helped plan our trips and excursions. We had such a fun filled trip and trusted her recommendations that took us all the way to Placencia for couple of nights, upon our return to her hotel she even drove us around to the local restaurants for dinner. Ms. Judy we had such a memorable vacation! Thank you for the warmth and kindness you, your husband and your staff showed us! ❤️
