One South Place Hotel

Enjoyed our one night, room was very comfortable and staff were so accommodating

Short walk from the water taxi terminal. This former ship captain 's house has modern spotless rooms and friendly staff in a safe part of town .

Wonderful stay

Arrived just before sunset after an exhausting time and lineups at the airport, the attendant was waiting for us? Helped out with our luggage and responded well to my mobility difficulty. The room was replaced with one on the Mai. Floor to avoid stairs and it was a good room with. Lean washroom and good air condition. They agreed to store our luggage until we come back from our travel to San Ignacio for couple of days. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I quite know how to or where to pin the tail on this donkey...The staff and owners, however, make this repeat customer feel welcome...

This is a small hotel just a few blocks from the downtown area and within walking distance of so much stuff. The owners and staff were great and made us feel at home the whole 6 days we were there. They have a cafe that serves breakfast and lunch which was excellent. Everyone(including the security personnel)introduced their selves to us so that we knew who they were. We never felt unsafe while staying here. If you want to get to know the Belize true culture and want a nice cozy place to stay this is your place.

I love the people who work there and the security guards, Lincoln and Mark were very helpful and friendly. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. I will definitely be coming back.

Very family friendly and quaint boutique hotel. Staff were very friendly, especially Erika! Owners are very kind and friendly. The breakfast was don’t exceptionally well.

For being our first stop for our first time to Belize, on our honeymoon, everything was incredible from the staff to the experience. The staff made us feel welcomed and at home the moment we arrived and they went above and beyond helping with any questions or recommendations. The area was very convenient and central to a lot of adventure opportunities. We walked to a local restaurant, Nerie’s, which is a must stop to try delicious local Belizean cuisine (recommend the rice and beans and chicken soup!) The hotel staff called us taxi services when needed and made sure the same taxi would take us back, and they also ordered us take out for dinner the night we arrived on a holiday and not much was open; they called several places to find us something! Overall we knew we’d be back to Belize at the same hotel before the first night was over. We can’t wait to come back in a few years and visit again.
