I recommend a perfect location

On a positive note, the staff was very kind and helpful — definitely the highlight of our short stay.

Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to the expectations set by the name and photos of the property. Upon arrival, we had to change rooms because the bed sheets were dirty — something unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one that labels itself as “luxury.” In the first room, there were no amenities at all — not even basic items like hand soap. When we asked housekeeping if they had any, the simple answer was “no.” Strangely, in the second room we were moved to, all the typical amenities one would expect from a place of this category suddenly appeared — including hand soap. The so-called mountain view was limited to a few trees and a construction site, which we were told is (or will become) a chapel. Breakfast, although included in the room rate, was extremely basic and offered very little variety. Even a cappuccino came at an extra cost. We didn’t expect a five-star buffet, but this was far below what you’d expect from a place calling itself a luxury resort. The term “resort” also feels misleading: the area is very remote, with little to no activities available nearby.

A peaceful and secluded escape surrounded by nature. The setting is quiet and serene, with beautiful views and a calming atmosphere. The accommodations were very comfortable—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. A perfect spot to relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature. All staff and general manager Nigel were all excellent and went above and beyond. Thank you.

The room was disappointing, no balcony and when we got to our room the TV does not work and we had a terrible view of the back of the building, for the price and what we got, not worth it

Nothing walking distance….but just a minute or two drive to downtown Orangeville.

There are a few things that need work like having hand soap in the bathroom and a shower curtain (just an open tub and no floor drain). There were capped electrical wires below the water valve for the toilet and the lights flickered quite a bit. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows quite small. For the price I expected more and I had a hefty discount.

The rooms are newly renovated, modern & open concept. Bed, Linen and Pillows are very good quality, Staff is very courteous. Breakfast was included in our rate and was excellent. Very quiet retreat, great place to unwind. Quality of room, bed and linen is comparable a Fairmont property.

Nice place to relax for the weekend. Great service, but the hotel has pretty obviously not been maintained for a few years and it’s starting to show here and there. Still decent, but it’ll be a little rough if they don’t start investing money soon…
