Hotel is excellent for Ayodhaya. It’s well run. Staff service is too good. We stayed in Superior room. Room size is okay, bathroom is fine. Restaurant food was very good

Room has no window!

Refund Not Processed for Weeks After Cancellation I booked directly with The Ramayana Hotel for a June 2026 stay and paid the full amount upfront. Due to a change in plans, I cancelled the booking on 26 March. The hotel acknowledged the cancellation, asked for my bank details, and confirmed that the refund would be processed within a few days. It has now been several weeks, and no refund has been issued, despite repeated follow‑ups to their reservations and front office emails. This is not acceptable for a hotel operating in a major pilgrimage destination. I am now filing complaints with the National Consumer Helpline and UP Tourism. I strongly advise travellers to be cautious when booking directly with this property. Highly unresponsive customer service. Best to use Booking sites if you have to book here.
