Hôtel Boutique Ophelia - Par Aneyro

La stanza spaziosa e pulita, con un ampio armadio e il bollitore e un sistema di domotica non semplicissimo (luci, oscuranti, temperatura). Anche il bagno era pulito e pieno di gadget elettronici come la stanza: per imparare a usarli occorre un po' di studio, poi la soddisfazione è notevole. L'hotel è collegato a due buoni ristoranti, per accedere a uno non occorre neppure uscire in strada - e immagino che sia molto comodo quando fa freddo -. Per ragioni che ignoro ci è stato offerto un pasto presso uno dei due ristoranti.

L'hotel non ha personale di reception, funziona tutto da remoto via whatsapp e telefono. L'ingresso all'hotel e alla stanza avviene attraverso codici numerici piuttosto complessi da ricordare. Una volta riusciti a entrare (e per noi boomers non è stato semplice) abbiamo trovato ad attenderci una ripida scala per arrivare alla stanza, oltre ai tradizionali gradini per accedere alla struttura (in Canada bisogna avere buone gambe per fare i turisti!) La struttura ha avuto problemi con il personale addetto alla pulizia durante il nostro soggiorno, e il secondo giorno ci è stato comunicato (via whatsapp) che la camera non sarebbe stata pulita. Invece la stanza è stata poi pulita, forse grazie al mio messaggio piuttosto irritato (l'hotel non è propriamente economico, e il minimo che ci si aspetta è la pulizia quotidiana). Credo per gli stessi problemi per qualche ora dei grossi sacchi di biancheria usata hanno sostato nel piccolo atrio di accesso, giusto all'inizio della scala. La posizione dell'hotel non è lontana dalla città fortificata ma neppure vicina, bisogna camminare circa un quarto d'ora, e il ritorno è in salita.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist unglaublich gut, auf einer sehr beliebten Straße mit vielen Restaurants, Bars und Clubs! Am Château Frontenac ist man in 20 min zu Fuß und kommt auf dem Weg an anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten vorbei. Self-Check in war einfach, Achtung nur, dass es keinen Aufzug gibt und es einige Treppen hoch geht. Das Bett war sehr bequem, wir haben super geschlafen! Das Zimmer ist insgesamt sehr stilvoll eingerichtet.

Weil die Straße auf der die Unterkunft liegt belebt ist, ist abends durchaus Musik von unten und außen zu hören. Es ist aber trotzdem nicht zu laut, meine Mutter ist sehr Lärmempfindlich und konnte gut schlafen. Das Bad (insbesondere Dusche und Toilette) sind nicht getrennt sondern mehr oder weniger „offen“ auf der Rückseite des Betts. Man bekommt also alles mit, darauf sollte man eingestellt sein.

Beautiful room, very modern…bidet had some issues and no elevator…when you have large suitcases…not convenient…parking is somewhat easy but not convenient

The room was spacious with areas for relaxing, dining and spreading out. Contactless check in was easy and the restaurant options downstairs were delicious.

We were extremely satisfied!!

Sehr sauberes und modernes Zimmer , sehr gut gelegen

Kein Personal vor Ort, alles remote und virtuell. Passt nicht zu der Bezeichnung Hotel, eher R&B Apartment. Uns wurde per SMS mitgeteilt wir sollen vor dem Hotel parken und den Schlüssel zum Parkplatz im Zimmer suchen. Allerdings war die Straße für Autos gesperrt… Kein Aufenthaltsraum. Toilette vollautomatisch aber nicht funktionell.

We were not informed that the summer festival was right in front of the hotel. We were not able to drive close to hotel, had to carry luggage around and park far away which would have been ok if the hotel had informed us. Needless to say that it was very loud. It smelled like sea food the next morning because there is a fish restaurant on the ground floor.
