Confort des chambres

Le stationnement étais compliqué du au fait que la rue était fermée pour les piétons.

From check in to check out everything was digital. Make sure your phone is charged as the codes to get into the building and your room are sent to your email. I recommend writing them down on a small card in case your phone runs out of battery while there. When we needed to contact customer service, someone was always available and replied right away. The restaurant is very good, the price point is high, but I recommend it for a nice dining experience. We had drinks just about every night on the terrace out front, and dinner one evening. The service and food were exceptional. The street is closed off to cars during certain hours. If you plan to take a cab or uber factor in that you may have to walk to the end of the street to catch one if they can't come up to the hotel. The hotel is easy walking distance to the Plains of Abraham and St. Joan of Arc Gardens. There are many restaurants and bars along the street. If you are sensitive to noise at night, I was able to hear street noise, but it did not keep me from being able to sleep. When weather is good you can walk to Lower Quebec. The stairs were fine for us going down, but we opted to take the Funicular back up. Wonderful, clean, and very convenient to local attractions. Highly recommend.

Nice room but too much technology NO LIFT. yes it was stated but at the very bottom of the description No receptionist- poor checking experience No where to hang towels Poor toiletries. Was told about car parks - the nearest recommended was for another hotel. Plus there was a festival and we were no warned of road closures. Again lack of awareness of local situation and there was no one on the ground. I would not stay there again.

The room was very modern and comfortable. My complaint is that the hotel did not warn us that a big street festival was happening and the roads around the hotel were all closed. We ultimately had to phone for directions to access the rear entrance. We received help with our luggage from 2 employees. Next we found that the instructions to access the indoor parking lot were inaccurate, and the key card to get in the garage did not work. Not sure that I would stay there again.

Boutique hotel offering a ton of character in the room we rented. Room #103 is an amazing space for any couple looking to getaway. Note that this hotel is in the heart of a bustling bar/restaurant section of the neighborhood so please expect some evening noise - we had one evening (Sat night) that proved to be a wee bit too loud for us - a noise canceling machine came in handy for that night. Central location to everything within and surrounding Old Quebec City. Can’t wait to go again one day soon.

"Too many inconveniences"

6.0

Good location, nice decor in rooms, fast wifi. Bit otherwise too many snagging points for the price, wouldn’t recommend: - communication with a virtual reception didn’t work for us. We reserved and paid for parking beforehand but weren’t told where the parking was. Had to park and pay on the street till had access to the room where we found a chip card for parking (we assumed), but still no info where the parking was. Called the help number, got the address. Moved the car but chip card refused at the car park. Another drive to re park and pay elsewhere. Hassle for no reason. If no one on sit, the virtual reception concept has to be water tight. It wasn’t here - 2 floors and no elevator just not ideal with heavy cases. It says to call virtual reception for help, but where from? How long would you have to wait? - fire alarm went off just after getting to room. No info as no one on site. - tight with toiletries. Tiny bottle, not enough for even 1 night/2 people. And single use plastic :-( Poor green credentials. And no bin with recycling option. - absolutely nowhere to hang towels to allow them to dry - just 2 small hooks by sink and can’t even hang over shower screen. Again, very poor green credentials. Being stylish doesn’t mean you can’t also be environmentally responsible
