The Lydden Bell

Nearly everything was perfect. Thank you. The staff were very helpful.

Breakfast didn't start until 9am. This is too late for people catching a ferry about 10am. We were given a breakfast bag, but would really have preferred to have gone into breakfast about 8.30am

Great location for the channel tunnel crossing. Beautifully appointed rooms and very comfortable. The Lydden Bell bar and restaurant served excellent food for both evening meal and breakfast. The staff were really personable and created a great atmosphere for the guests. Second stay here and will definitely stay again.

The Pub was fab, lovely country pub style and very clean .just for once the tables didnt have that horrible "sticky" feel . they were smooth and dry . All the food was lovely , great variety too. Staff excellent and Guiness was great . Location for Dover port was spot on ( and Lydden Circuit) . Scenic setting . Room was good and nice and warm , bed comfy .

Pub could have been a bit warmer .

The cabin room was perfect with all we needed,clean and well equipped.

We are early birds so breakfast at 9am was too late for us.

Perfect location for the Dover ferry. Lovely old pub with wonderful views, super-friendly staff, a fantastic family room, and excellent breakfast.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. The food was very good with a great choice of dishes. More imaginative than most pub restaurants.

Well looked after establishment, thought of practically everything, ie., iron , ironing board, hairdryer , , electric heater /air con unit , depending on time of year , bottled water , biscuits with tea /coffee , etc , plus good food !!
