The front desk employee was a nightmare of a person. Not one smile, gave me keys to a room that wasn’t even cleaned, then barely apologized. So disappointing.

I was very happy with my stay here and it exceeded all expectations given my past experience with hotels in the Bay Area. Rooms are extremely clean and feel brand new. Beds and pillows were comfortable. I was on the 15th floor and it very quite. Breakfast was a surprise and high quality to what I've seen at other hotels in the area. Having breakfast included in the price definitely made the stay worth it. I would definitely stay here again.

Parking is the only thing that caused us some trouble. The hotel has valet parking but we found a nearby parking for a more affordable price. Streets weren't as bad as other reviews had mentioned, but I am used to Oakland! There were no bad experiences on the streets during my stay there.

I arrived at 9:15 AM for breakfast. There were no biscuits, hashbrowns, or oatmeal left. I am a vegetarian! This is unacceptable.

"Good hotel that I have mixed feelings on"

Pros: quiet, clean, good breakfast, good blackout curtains, comfy bed. Cons: it's geared towards men. The shower amenities smell masculine. The toilets are high off the floor. There's no lotion (unless you ask for it). The decor is very sterile - no carpet, no soft surfaces. It's not a big deal, it's just something that sort of stood out to me in both my visits.
