"Had a lovely relaxing time"

10.0

The staff was prompt courteous and efficient. Rooms are lovely. The rooms and grounds were pristine. Mosquitos are brutal make sure to bring DEET. My only complaint the rooftop hot tub was not hot. I suggested opting for the plunge pool instead.

Superbe hôtel avec un cenote en plein centre. Beaucoup de plantes partout. C’est un environnement très reposant. Vélo sur place très pratiques.

"Needs lots of rework "

4.0

the administration is bad. We had an issue with the original reservation which was incorrectly charged to the credit card. After many attempts to get an answer from the hotel, also with Booking, this has to be escalated to the credit card bank. Up to this day no answer is received yet. - Location is bad. The access is via dirt road with poor maintenance. - the rooms are beautiful, as a frame for Instagramers. Very impractical from inside. You feel exposed unless you pull down rolling blinds. The bathtub is unsafe. Shower in the middle, so no curtains or anything so by force you make a mess when showered. The breakfast was incredibly slow, and expensive

"Best authentic resort in Tulum"

10.0

Fabulous room. Great staff starting with Alejandro, Enrique and Mauricio who work hard to make sure every detail and request is accommodated. The restaurant staff and service level is 5 star. We were served often by Benjamin who gave great service. The pool and Cenote were great amenities. We were accommodated during the hurricane and every effort was given to make sure the guests were well taken care of. Even having a generator on site so we had electricity and wi fi, highly recommended you visit this great property.

The hotel is money hungry. They will intentionally cut the power and water. Expect outages through out the day. The hotel is very pretty. However the way they operate gives rookie energy. Guest are not priority here. The staff is. They have a terrible mosquito problem that is only maintained at the front desk or where ever their is a staff member standing . The frustrations of frequent outages made me become extremely observant to their operation. The cooks never washed their hands yuk. The food is not fresh. I was there for 6 days not once did I see them pick up the pool skimmers to clean the pools . I looked at it everyday to see if they will use it. They never used it. Not once did they take initiative for the inconvenience they cause. A hurricane approached not only did they not comp the room we were forced to stay because our flight was canceled but they cut the power even before the hurricane started. Not once did they apologize for the inconvenience. They take no initiative. Is not worth the frustrations do not stay here.

"No water or power"

2.0

My wife and I were supposed to spend 2 nights here from June 16th-18th however we checked out early due to them losing power and water at 1am on the 17th. Thank god we did because come to find out it happened again the following night. The room became unbearably hot and we were unable to sleep and couldn't even shower or brush our teeth. We spoke to Alejandro the revenue manager who said he would get back to us regarding a refund. It has been two days now and we've sent multiple emails and have yet to hear from them. Don't stay here, they will just take your money. This property is beautiful but they don't have the proper infrastructure in place such as a backup generator which is a necessity when you are in the middle of the jungle in Tulum. Also they don't care if they ruin your vacation and will just keep your money and not respond to you

The food was exceptional, with plenty of amazing vegan options. Definitely a place I'd recommend if you're not quite interested in the more boisterous beach club scene and want to be closer to true Tulum.

Wow this place is odd. We booked this looking forward to a luxurious and relaxing stay and hoped that this expensive hotel would be the highlight of our trip, and instead it was absolutely the worst part of our Tulum vacation. The images and description of this hotel are very misleading, and Expedia presenting this as a luxury boutique hotel felt like a scam. No room service, the pools were often dirty and looked rundown in person. This place is a mix of condo and hotel, and they also host events for non-guests (stuff like midnight reiki healings) where a bunch of people not staying at the hotel were using all of the common areas all night. It felt more like a cheap yoga retreat marketed to influencers than a high-end hotel, and for what we got the price was outrageous. It’s also set among new developments, so the entire area around the hotel is being excavated and heavy construction equipment is running all day, and the drive into the hotel (which had no signage) is like driving through a construction site. To top it all off, our very expensive meal at the hotel was the only food in Tulum that gave us food poisoning. For a lower price we would have been reasonably happy with this hotel, but this was not at all the stay that we paid for. Very disappointing.
