KAN Tulum Hotel

My review is not for the hotel itself or its amenities as chose to stay at a different hotel. My review is in regards to administrative systems. I booked this hotel through a reputable vendor and from the start there were issues - property immediately put through deposit (disregarding the booking option selected to pay later 14 days prior to visit). When I called was told 'Sorry for the inconvenience" but nothing else. I then cancelled this reservation (as our trip plans changed) well within the 0 penalty guaranteed cancellation policy period. This was 2 1/2 months ago and to date after multiple email exchanges and promises of refunds/bank transfers, apologies for a glitch in the January system etc I have yet to receive a refund. While front desk tried to be helpful they eventually also gave up as said they couldn't get anywhere and refused to give me a direct contact number. While hotel looks beautiful I would not recommend.

This was a great experience! Room was very clean, bed was so comfy and relaxing. the staff was amazingly courteous and especially Sergio upon check in was very helpful throughout our stay. Everyone always greeted us throughout. The views were nice. we had a plunge pool room. Its very peaceful. There were small nooks of bar areas and a restaurant to eat. food and margaritas were good. The shopping and other restaurants are about 10 minutes away in a taxi, which we took in the evenings. Had a great relaxing time.

Amazing hotel Staff was great. Resort is extremely clean and the AC works perfectly fine.

Sam and team have created something spectacular! This place is a must stay whether as a couple, family or friends. It’s absolutely stunning and beautiful, rooms are big and very well made, no stone left unturned. Location is great as it’s very close to the beach but yet far enough from the hustle. It even has a cenote in the resort! The service, the staff and the food are some of the best I’ve come across in a long time. Long story short, I really don’t have any complaints about this place. Kudos Sam and team!

Absolute oasis in Tulum, design and architecture are one of a kind here and the staff are top tier.

We had the most wonderful time. I highly recommend Kan Tulum. Staff are kind and friendly. Rooms are luxurious. Beds are very comfy. Food was excellent

Razoável. O local é bonito e tem uma arquitetura diferenciada, mas deixa a desejar em termos de serviços, há poucas opções e são todos pagos (caros). Não há serviço de quarto e o café da manhã é muito simples. A localização é boa, apesar de não ser na zona hoteleira.

El hotel es muy lindo, el ambiente y la tranquilidad, alejado del tráfico y exceso de gente de la zona hotelera. Solo es importante mencionar que el desayuno que incluyen es continental no buffet como lo dice la página de Expedia.

The property is absolutely stunning. Rahul was our bartender and was the most attentive staff, always served with kindness & a smile. Please note that they eliminated the “free bike rentals” as stated in this listing, they now rent them through a third party for a pretty penny. Overall, it was a pleasant & neat visit but we could’ve experienced everything it has to offer with a 1 night stay instead of 2.
