Beautiful gardens, nice and comfortable apartments

Two out of three nights we didn’t have electricity. We had to get ready to go out in the darkness. The gym needs maintenance and cleaning.

Apt is spacious.

very far away from everywhere, the road access to the property is shockingly bad, and apt is not that clean, the linen has spots on them same as towels given.

No water 2 night and the power went out one day we asked to be refunded and they blamed everything on someone else

The building and surrounding pools were great! Location was really good halfway point between tulum township and tulum beach area, this meant everything was close but because the area isn't yet developed properly it was really quite and peaceful. The constant presence of the security team made it feel safe. The 2 guys running the bar upstairs were amazing! Super friendly and getting out delicious food so fast!! The pizzas were so good!

We weren't told that the host only uses what's app so we couldn't contact them to begin with. We also weren't told our room number and there weren't any check in staff at the front desk to help us check in. The security team didn't speak any English and we didn't speak any Spanish so it took nearly an hour to check in because we couldn't contact our host. The room didn't include any housekeeping services so after 3 out of our 8 day stay the room felt pretty gross! Our toilet didn't flush the entire stay. We had it fixed on day one and it broke again the following day so we were using public toilets our whole stay! The room did not have all the facilities that were advertised in the pictures online. There were kitchen amenities and furniture in the online photos that were not in the rooms. We had a POD coffee machine in the room but no PODs provided ?! What was the point? But we didn't have a kettle...!! Mistiq Gardens was a nice condotel but the room we had was quite a let down.
