Stylish 2BR Apt in Valletta by Buena Vista

The apartment is located in the center of Valletta, close to all the city's important attractions. The amenities were as described, but the lack of maintenance is evident. The shower drain needs to be improved. A leaking sink caused water to collect on the bathroom floor.The smoke detector was open, so it's probably not working. I was surprised that the kitchen hood wasn't connected to the ventilation system, and a dirty iron stained clothes. It's worth cleaning the windows. I'm attaching photos.

While the shortcomings of the apartment itself are not a major problem, the facility operator's approach to the customer is unacceptable. Despite blocking the deposit amount on my credit card, they tried to block the deposit amount again several times throughout the weekend. I think that if the card had enough funds, they would have blocked €1,000 instead of €250. Furthermore, despite my explanations that the amount was already blocked, they insisted it wasn't. Only after sending a card statement and a screenshot of the phone screen from the bank's app did the deposit inquiries end (this process continued from Friday to Sunday). What is important, I paid for my entire stay at booking.com a month earlier. To make matters worse, on Monday, I received another request via email and WhatsApp for my card number to confirm its validity. This time, the operator claimed someone was trying to scam me and the message wasn't from them. I decided to use Booking.com's help, forwarding all correspondence with the property. Fortunately, there were no further questions about the card. An additional "attraction" was the problem with opening the lockbox containing the apartment key. I tried to contact the property by phone and text message, but unfortunately, no one responded or called me back. In fact, it took five hours for a Buena Vista Holidays employee to call back! A Booking.com employee also helped me out this time by calling the property and assuring me that the key was in the lockbox (thank you for your help and professionalism Booking.com). To sum up, you can find an apartment of a similar class without the stress of contacting this property operator.

Spacious, well-equipped and great location.

It got a bit cold for us at times simply due to the design of the building, but there was heating we could turn on to warm up.
