The Snug

Very clean and stylish, with a sea view. Everything we needed for our stay.

A couple of the metal steps outside up to the apartment are a bit dodgy, but may not be the owners responsibility.

In town centre. Sea view. Close to shops and all amenities. 10 minutes from ferry terminal. Spotlessly clean and nicely decorated and with all the kitchen accessories you need. This was our 2nd stay and we hope to return.

Spotless accommodation, very cosy flat. Location central to everything. Would definitely book again and can see why accommodation is very rarely available.

Located nicely in town with plenty of free parking nearby. It was very clean and well kept. It was quie.

35 steps up a fire escape type stairway was somewhat of an unwanted surprise. We found the furniture very uncomfortable and far too low. The bed was also far too low. The bedroom “blackout blind” was useless. Had we been cold in bed there were no more blankets to be found.

We love the flat for its central location and cleanliness. Wifi and kitchen facilities are good .The flat is very quiet and the key safe makes entry easy . Ross is easy to communicate with and we have enjoyed 3 stays so far . The flat is opposite the promenade and swimming baths . Morrisons and the cinema is close by . Dunoon has plenty of entertainment available . It's wonderful for outdoor walkers ,cyclists etc.

There is no central heating only electric heaters , so this time (April ) we found the flat cold and it took ages to heat up . The bedroom heater seemed temperamental so that room stayed cold . The kitchen has no heater . Unlike some other properties, you are charged per person rather than per accommodation and we think charging full price for a third person to sleep on a couch bed in the lounge ,is just too much. I think charging per night and allowing 3/4 people to share the flat would be better . The flat is accessed by external steep metal stairs, and there is no parking . However it's a short walk to park on the main street .

The location is great for visitors to Dunoon.

The entrance wasn’t that easy to find and the foyer to the building wasn’t in the best condition-however, this made The Snug a welcoming surprise

The flat was very bright, spacious and clean, tastefully decorated and very well equipped with all the facilities one would need for a short or even longer stay. There was plenty of parking available nearby.

The only downside was the long metal staircase to access the flat. This could be challenging for seniors or young children and was also potentially hazardous when wet.
