Ah Xok suites 5a Avenida

A hidden gem in the less busy section off right off Fifth avenue but a close walk to everything. A little loud from the bar around the corner on 5th avenue but I imagine a huge improvement over any other place near 5 minutes from the beach. Looks exactly like the pictures.

Roof top needs more loungers

Great location except music nearby til about midnight. Comfortable sleek modern. Quality kitchen, nice balcony rooftop pool. Nice staff. Loved my stay!

The hotel was lovely, the rooms were large, had a big comfy bed, bathroom and lounge / kitchen area and balcony. The room was comfy and clean. Bathroom very clean. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The pool area upstairs was nice and the breakfast menu looked good, although we didn't try it.

The only downside is its near a karaoke bar that closes at 2am. The corner rooms have an extra balcony next to the bedroom (other rooms only have one balcony by the lounge). I had to sleep with earphones every night.

Very spacious, living room, kitchen with the bare essentials, big patio, nice shower with hot water, extras like lotion, light and bright.

This place is loud! The patio is right above a bar with loud music until 2:30 am and the bedroom is on the hallway side with everyone’s voices and slamming doors all night. If you don’t mind noise and want to be in the action, this place is for you! The staff were terrible. Sat on their phones the whole time and pretty worthless. Cleaning ladies were nice. Lots of moist stains on the comforter.

I stayed in many places in Playa and this was my absolute favorite. Fernanda, Armando and the other lady I forgot her name gave exceptional service. The best part is the location. Right on 5th avenue and walking distance to everything cool. When I return to Playa there’s no question about where I’ll be staying!
