City Lights Apartments

The property was in a good location but did not look like the photos.

Location is perfect. We could walk everywhere if we chose to or the tram is right there. Bed was comfortable, as was the lounge. Kitchen well appointed. Communication from Victoria was super responsive. Loved everything about this little stay. Thanks so much. Iain

There is NOTHING I did not like about this stay. But if I may make the smallest suggestion- we looked for a deck of cards or game of Yahtzee or Jenga to play??🤷‍♂️

Was a great location for what we needed.

No Heating ,Sofa Bed broken not been replaced, double glazing needed for windows to cut out noise and keep a little heat in. A touch of paint and tidy up would make it a great apartment 👌👌. Its a great location and would stay again.

Great location and bus route into the city

It was dirty, the sheets looked used. And had marks and hairs on them in the lounge to make up the sofa. There were bits and dust all over where they had not cleaned properly. You could tell it hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly for weeks. They had done a quick wipe down. But missed the corners, skirting’s and lamps. There was just random bits of plastic on the window ledge. In the kitchen the sugar pot had not been cleaned and there were coffee granules in it. I could go on about the washing machine. When I emailed to say about the sheets I got the response of the cleaners swapped them and they would mention it! No offer of swapping them! Also whilst getting ready to leave on the last day a workman turned up. We had no idea so told him to go away. As it could have been anyone. Why organise a workman whilst having guests and not being there themselves. Also I received multiple emails before arriving about the 2 keys in the lock box! There was only 1! I messaged to confirm this as didn’t want to be billed for a new key or lock. To be told yeah there is only 1! So if so then the emails need to be updated. They shouldn’t be publishing old and incorrect information. It made me worry someone else has one and how safe was our belongings? Or us sleeping at night it is a worry if one was missing!

The shower.

The dirt and mould. The carpets were awful and need a good hoover and a wash every now and again. Shower tiles covered in black mould. This accommodation is not suitable for 4 people. The sofa bed might as well been out in the street because of the noise, the cold and the light coming through the front door which was missing an internal door.

This property was directly next to the bus stop which while very convenient, also meant there were unhoused men outside screaming starting at 5am multiple days of our trip. The inside of the apartment was not only damp, but the carpets were literally wet, towels etc would not dry even in front of open windows. The smoke detector beeped incessantly until we finally changed it ourself. Lastly, the dirty bowels in the kitchen cabinets were a lovely touch.

Every thing Was ok, and the proprety Washington absolutely disponibile and very gently

The property is 10 min far from city center and just 2 min far from Tram station so it was easy to commute. Overall very goodone I recommend anyone looking for staybaround edinburgh
