This hostel is really nice. The staff are really welcoming, it's comfortable and not too big. There aren't many showers, but it works because it's not too crowded.

I would add more restrooms but everything was great

The bunk beds, not pods, are well crafted.

-Unprofessional and unreasonable staff -Poor Customer Service -Only one full bathroom and a toilet for the entire hostel -If you arrive late you have to wait until the next morning to check-in -There are two sunroofs that create light throughout the building and hinder guests from being able to sleep in the dark. -I gave contact information and never told me house rules until the second morning (which were told to me in an unprofessional manner by the staff) -They have bunk beds, not pods, see Nap York and Music Hall Hostel for pods, excellent choices. Amsterdam, HI Downtown, Adelaide, Orange Hostel are more professional hostels -Powell Street is a 5-minute walk away, but Powell Street station is an hour and a half walk away -You can't cook in the kitchen until 10:00 a.m. and when people do cook you can smell it throughout the hostel -One dorm room holds all of the bunk beds -After I discussed all of these issues and noted I never received any house rules, I asked for a cancellation and refund. Management at this hostel told me that I would have to go through Booking.com. However, after posting a Google review I was offered a refund as long as I removed the review. Interesting ethics.

The comfort of the place, everyone was being respectful to each other despite this being an open dormitory and sharing spaces. The bathroom and the rest are super clean. The hot water is superb.

The bed, it was way too soft (like sleeping on top of springs) that it made my neck stiff after sleeping for two nights in a row.

The price

Bathroom. The toilet could not get toilet paper flushed. Had to throw away used toilet paper in a bin

The overall stay was nice & comfortable for the price

The only thing I didn’t like was the bathroom and toilet facilities. There is only one shower and two toilets for everyone in the stay. Also for my second day the toilets and shower were out of order.

The facilities are great, clean, it is a spacious and comfortable dorm

The temperature at night got extremely cold and I was provided with very small and thin blankets to sleep with. As a result I woke up with a sore throat and decided not to stay the other nights I booked, as I found it quite insulting for the guests to be treated this way. Some people staying there were a bit disturbed: I was woken up in the middle of the night by a loud, high speech voiced scream from one of the other occupants, which has been quite unpleasant and got me petrified. I obviously had difficulties returning to sleep after that. When I explained these 2 points to the customer service center, I was not taken seriously and at some point they just stopped replying to my messages. Would not recommend to anyone.
