Western Hotel Ouray

Kein Lift. Personal am Empfang ist sehr schlecht informiert über die Umgebung. Kein Deckenbezug - nur ein Tuch und dann die nackte Decke - sehr unhygienisch in einem Hotel. Eine Flasche Wasser im Kühlschrank ohne Angabe, was für Wasser, dass es ist oder seit wann es dort steht.

A must visit bar. We visited twice! Food and drinks at the bar great! Staffed by real bar tenders. A lot of history and fun place to chill. Will certainly always return and strongly recommend. Sandwiches are amazing and desert is terrific. Will look into staying there as it would be great to be so close to the bar.

Nick the chef makes amazing food and is very friendly. Robin at the front desk was very informative and adds a personal touch. Property is stunning

It is an historic and interesting place, rustic and unique in many of the right ways, but perhaps missing the mark on some comfort areas. Staff attentiveness is very low if not absent after mid-evening. For instance, we had no hot water for baths the first night, and there was no person onsite or on call to reach out to. We left a couple messages and heard back the next day with apologies and correction for the next night. Hotel restaurant atmosphere and menu offerings were enjoyable. Food quality and wait staff were excellent. There was a discrepancy associated with the cancellation policy and timing of room charges between Expedia and the property which fell into dispute. Property charged full amount without notice a week in advance and before Expedia’s stated cancellation allowance, and hotel management was completely uncooperative to discuss the discrepancy.

I highly recommend the restaurant/salon. The food was so fresh innovative and beautiful. What an amazing chef. Our server Kelly was very attentive and made amazing cocktails. It is such a breath air to have a server who is friendly and loves their job. She was really special. This restaurant is a must if you visit Ouray!

The staff service was outstanding. Michelle was super helpful, courteous! And customer conscious. Hi especially was impressed with the room and overall atmosphere of the facility. Congratulations on a wonderful rehab job of the building.

It was converted from an old building with unique room decor. Restaurants and bar in the building. Meet Antoine the owner very friendly and helpful.

Gorgeous rooms and the restaurant and saloon are straight out of a movie. Best food in town with a wood smoker outdoors where the meat is done and a wood fired kitchen with fabulous vegetables and a smoked feta dish to die for. The interior design is incredible! Lunch prices are comparable to some of the mass produced, crappy restaurants on Main Street.
