The hotel is clean, well-run, clean and functional. It offers a 'no'frills' experience with friendly staff. It is only 5 minutes walk from the train station and easy walking distance to most attractions in Norwich.

The room is quite small, the bedding is a little well-worn, and the facilities are adequate. Breakfast is all you can eat cereal and toast. There is no provision for special dietary needs, and if you need these, then there is an additional charge. It would have been nice to have unflavoured, unsweetened yoghurts available as well as the flavoured ones provided.
