This was a great place for the price. Would recommend this place if you want to be able to walk to several convenient locations and also being close to the airport after your trip is over.

It looks a lot better in the pictures, the room that they give me have a lot of things under construction, we found a couple of cockroaches, the bridge was broken

There was a 5 inch long centipede in the shower!!!! I ran out of that place afterwards thinking of all the other bugs there.

This is a very basic hotel. This is reflected int he pricing which is a little lower than others comparable. The good stuff: Nice lobby, very nice and helpful staff, coffee available all day, free pool table to use in lobby. Great location, on the bus route to the Malecon and other areas, very easy to get around. No great beaches nearby, but if you don't mind crowds and cigarette butts in the sand, the beach opposite, behind the hotels, was okay and walking distance at around 7 mins to get over the road and down the walkways. There is Soriana close by, about ten mins walk. An Oxxo two mins walk on the corner, and abank with good atm fees on the corner also. Cleaning staff and room service staff were very nice and speak a little english. The not-so-great: Rooms at the front of the house are VERY very noisy, as they are over the main road. I couldn't sleep at all until 1 or 2 am once the clang or cars and stereos died down. That was the worst for me. The room wasn't clean, there were black hairs all over the bathroom. NO electric kettle in room, which was unfortunate, no microwave or coffee machine, but a good refrigerator. The pool was dirty, had some kind of pink scum in, cloudy and cigarette butts all over the pool area on the ground. Yukky. The hot coffee was good but they don't offer hot water to make tea, despite having TEA BAGS out. I asked about hot water, you can get the kitchen staff to microwave you some in a polystyrene cup. Hmm. Overall, i would say if you are happy to pay budget prices and get budget, you cant go wrong. Just beware the dirty pool and rooms.
