Location was great, room service was excellent, bar service was good.

Breakfast was very "canteen style" and mainly "DIY", food wasn't being topped up when it ran out, hygiene practices of staff were questionable, eg. laying out cutlery by physical handling of surfaces other than handles! Noise in our room was unacceptable, 3 nights of very poor sleep, it seemed like every creaking floorboard in the building echo'd through our room. Not helped by some staff hanging around on the fire escape smoking and chatting. Cleanliness of the car park / waste disposal area was terrible and a very bad first introduction to the hotel, bins overflowing, rubbish laying on the floor for days. To call this hotel a "Sea Food Restaurant" is also a bit of a travesty, it served mussels without the correct sauce (ie. not what was advertised in the menu), the mussels were removed from our bill and staff were accommodating and apologetic, but unfortunately by that time we simply hadn't been presented with what we'd ordered!

Rooms not very clean, lots of cobwebs in the bathroom. The whole place needs a good decorate and tidy up. Top price paid for a poor quality room. We Booked a table in the restaurant and when we arrived it hadn’t been reserved it so had to sit in the bar area with large dogs putting their heads all over the table .. wasn’t told the bar was a dog friendly place .. The food is very overpriced for what it was . The property needs a lot of work and money spent on it to bring it up to a good standard

Muy lindo estuvimos en The Haven, la habitación muy linda, baño super cómodo. Tener en cuenta que Plockton es muy pequeño y todo cierra a las 7:00 incluso en junio!!!

The location is great and we had a very comfortable room. The service from all staff was excellent and we had a delicious evening meal and very good breakfast

Staff, food, cleanliness and location all fabulous. The room was cosy and bathroom roomy. The bed and pillows were super comfy. This small village was such an unexpected gem to fid on our Scotland road trip. We would highly recommend.

It was not something I did not like, but it was a surprise to have dogs around inside for dinner. Just mentioned this so others realise, just in case someone may be frightened of dogs or they may not want to share their oʻmeal with other peoples pets.
