I thought we were getting an apartment not just a room with a kitchenette. It was still nice but disappointing.

Disclaimer: THIS REVIEW IS FOR MARRIOTT The room was great. Fantastic area, great walking proximity to most of the touristy attractions (Be aware, however, that you will spend a lot of time walking both up and down hills.), plenty to do and plenty of options for food and drinks. Sonder’s end was pretty decent on customer service for any issues or questions that arose, HOWEVER, Marriott *just* took over Sonder and the integration of their systems and processes is AWFUL. 1. I can’t even be logged into my account and view my reservation or stay details. I have to log out of my account and look at my booking by using my confirmation number. 2. Due to the systems migrations, there is a ton of inaccurate information on the app like stating that lockers are not available even though they are, and the inability to directly request early check in or late check out. 3. We got approved for a late checkout and had a payment link sent to us that was broken and simply led me to the Marriott website that resulted in 45 minutes on the phone with Sonder customer service finding a resolution. Big companies, specifically the special folks in operations (Almost always led by COO who isn’t worth their weight in salt, let alone knowledge.) love to implement changes without properly ideating what the process would or should look like. To have all of these changes implemented during high travel season adds insult to injury. Overall, would’ve been a 5, but because of Marriott, end result is a 3.

Clean, safe and good space inside.

The only issue was the bottoms of some the grab bars had come loose.

Everything was great. We just had difficulty getting access as we didn’t realise the building was not managed by a physical person. If you need any assistance you need to call a number, this was difficult for us to as we had just arrived. Had not yet got our phone up and running for the states. We couldn’t access the codes for entry and without them you can’t even enter the building. Once that was sorted we were fine. We were able to leave our luggage in the lockers until the room was available. The only other issue that wasn’t evident when booking, was that we were located on a hill, so walking was a bit more challenging and it was some distance to public transport. The accomodation itself was great however. The king bed was awesome, there was a fridge, and a microwave which was absolutely handy.

It was the best experience of a hotel trip in a minute. The view is really nice on top floor. Very clean and homey in there.

Location

Code for room did not work upon arriving. Customer service was bad. Rug by bed lost its grip with floor tape and one could trip over it.

Le logement est très bruyant car au-dessus d'une sorte d'autoroute. Les rideaux sont très fins donc il fait jour dans la chambre à partir de 5h30 du matin. Je n'y ai donc pas bien dormi, malgré des boules quies etc. Pas de personnel sur place ni de petit déjeuner.
