Hacienda Valentina

The property was beautiful. The pool was extremely well maintained and crystal clear. The room was reasonably sized. The bathroom was huge. The night manager greeted us personally as we parked. We bought a fantastic baguette sandwich one street north-Ty Special, I think. The personal cenote was lovely.

Nothing to note other than we didn’t have enough time to enjoy it more.

The ataff went out of their way to assist me. I was not happy I had to go back into Playa del Carmen (to meet others) after spending 300 pesos to get to the Hacienda from Playa to check-in. The staff (Luis?) offered to drop me off in town which I appreciated so much! Thank-you! He really went above and beyond. It is farther than you think. Just so you are prepared, the taxi ride is $250-300 pesos from Hacienda Valentina to Playa by taxi. Better yet is if you have a car.

We both had a rough night sleeping. My partners back was hurting in the morning.Temperature regulation was a problem for me. It was fixable-I was just so tired. There is a fan, an air conditioner, and the windows open with screens on them. The taxi cab ride is pricey for the ten minute ride, but I am used to Puerto Morelos pricing. Due to the old style construction a padlock is used to lock the door. Our place was on the main level, but be aware there are rooms up the stairs.

The Hacienda is beautiful and the staff is very nice. we would surely recommend it and come again if we are near by. our children enjoyed pool and swam in the night as well so jat lag form Europe was easy to overcome!

Staff is very nice and the rooms are also great. Nice chill vibe and beautiful garden with lots of plants.

The location is a bit tricky. Not close to any supermarkets or restaurants (but there is a good gas station).

Adorable grounds. Kind staff. They put a hammock up in our room for the kids and they loved it!

Huge room. The property is in a good location just off the main highway with safe, secure parking. Staff are thoughtful. Room was clean and cozy. Would recommend.

As this is not a hotel, there is no permanent reception. Be sure to arrange a time for arrival.
