The Cove - Roker Sea Front - Vacant Nests

Lovely little apartment Own small garden View of the garden (not sea view) Modern decoration Very good WiFi signal Lovely pub / restaurant /Hotel (Poetic Licence) a few door down, the fish & chips were the best we've had in years Seafront is literally over the road, but beware it's a steep hill to get down to the beach

Serious issues with the cleaning of the property when we arrived, but I think this will be dealt swiftly and they were willing to come out straight away to sort it out, but we weren't going to be there long enough to waste time hanging around. No mobile signal within the apartment or garden. Having the garden, gives the impression that the apartment is on the ground floor, but it is in the basement, down a long, steep stairs and there is only a rail on part of them. Without the cleaning issue, I'd of rated the property 7/8

We wanted a location on Roker sea front and this flat is ideal being right next to the Roker Hotel. The communication with the host on how to enter the property and parking process was excellent. Kitchen has all facilities you need for a short stay.

The bedroom is quite small with minimal storage space. However ample room in the main room to store your things so all ok for a one bedroom place.

upstairs people from us were a bit noisy and bedroom was tight

Wifi being restricted for certain websites/apps e.g bet365 Couldn’t get the outside lights on but correct switches all seemed to be on..

Flat was easy to find, with clear directions from host, with own parking space. It is at the back of the building, which makes it feel very quiet and private inside. Plenty of facilities, lovely restaurants, great view as soon as you come out. Clean, lovely bathroom, well equipped kitchen, Bed was really comfortable, hosts were helpful, replying quickly to any questions. Perfect for our 2 night stay.
