It really needs a lick of paint and there was no hot water to have a shower for a while because of some unexplained problem with the boiler.
LUWe were accommodated at Kylesku Hotel, which is about a 5-minute drive from the main hotel. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and well-equipped, and the beds were comfortable. Be sure to reserve the restaurant in advance, as there are not many other dining options in the area.

GBExceptional location with outstanding views. Bar and restaurant were very nice and quality of the food was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Room was small and pretty tired and needed redecoration. The furniture was a bit shabby. Not good value at all for £350 per night. Some of the staff (although helpful) seemed poorly trained and a bit disorganised.

The reception area, restaurant & rooms were very basic for the price charged. We could not enjoy the view as the window was walked past constantly so we had to close the curtains, there was no privacy lining on the curtains, so very dark. Our lake view room, which was very expensive, £369 I think, looked out to the public toilets. The door to the room did not lock! Food was mediocre. All in all disappointing, I would not recommend. Not what I was expecting.
DEDie Lage und der Ausblick waren einfach fantastisch. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und es gab sogar ein Willkommenspaket für unseren Hund.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer direkt unter dem Dach, das uns mit Hund zur Verfügung gestellt wurde. Die Treppe war jedoch extrem steil, sodass wir unseren Husky fast immer hoch und runter tragen mussten, obwohl wir im Voraus angegeben hatten, dass wir mit einem Husky anreisen. Das war wirklich nicht angenehm. Das im Preis inbegriffene Frühstücksangebot könnte etwas umfangreicher sein. Leider gab es nur Cornflakes und Marmelade. Man kann sich zwar aus der Speisekarte gegen Aufpreis weitere Frühstücksgerichte bestellen, die waren aber sehr lecker. Schade, dass man das andere Angebot aufgrund der sehr begrenzten Auswahl kaum nutzen konnte.
