Good value, across the bridge from the main cbd area

Arrived at 2pm and greeted by friendly reception who gave me room key, Room was lovely and clean and comfortable. The shower pressure is so good. There is a massive TV on the wall which is a smart TV and it has all the bells and whistles! Free WiFi and as we stayed in Room 3, there is undercover parking right out the door. The staff are actually very approachable and when we left in the morning we chatted with the cleaner who I praised for a job well done. The flooring in the rooms are getting refreshed and we saw that room 5 was completed and it look bright and updated. This really is a great option for overnight stays and I think for a budget motel they go above and beyond. You even get complementary bottled water and tea, coffee and some sweet biscuits. They also supply toiletries which are of very good quality. The location is great - it is on the north side of town and once the sun goes down it is pretty quiet.

There were some very inconsiderate guests who literally talked most the night outside. I mean I suppose I could have gone out and said something to them but I always travel with a eye mask and ear plugs in case of unpredictable things like this. I was also super comfortable and cozy in the bed and didn't really want to get up!!!

Away from the CBD and close to a pub/bottle shop

Even though the property is old - and it does show in places . It was very comfortable and easy to get to

The one thing that we did not like at all - was the lights outside the rooms- they stayed in way too long and made it hard to get to sleep . Something needs to be done about them

The hot water was nice and the TV was a nice large size.

The other occupants or neighbours were loud, screaming. The PowerPoint was pillow height in the middle of the bed so you couldn't charge you phone beside the bed. The cat port lights stay on all night and the curtains don't cover the window, so it was bright all night and we couldn't sleep! Also there was nothing but a sheet on the bed with a throw blanket in the closet (in the middle of winter). Oh and there was a cockaroach.

The manager was extremely rude, I had trouble raising him to check in at 5.30pm and I was told to stand outside, wasnt allowed into reception, I wasnt in dirty clothes or smelly, I had driven all day.
