Fairmont Vancouver Airport - Gold Experience

A beautiful hotel, comfortable and well thought out room. Didn’t hear the planes despite it being in the terminal at the airports - great soundproofing. The staff were very friendly and responsive. The food at the restaurant and room service were tasty.

The shower water is not as showing ( blue line is actually hot water), called for luggage service but without showing up. Touched the fridge and charged me for mini bar, called front desk for refund. Overall is good.

Loved our stay at the Fairmont. All staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We stayed with our dog prior to flying to Europe and couldn't have picked a better place. We will definitely return.

A breath of fresh air. Superb way to start or finish a journey. Staff in gold area amazingly good.

The Fairmont Gold experience always sets high standards, and mainly the Fairmont hotels meet them. The only problem with this Fairmont was that although it is literally in the middle of the airport, the Gold floor was not staffed around the clock. Given the level of service that is promised, the staff should be available at least an hour after the last flight into the airport or an hour before the airport's first flight of the day. When it is staffed, the Gold floor was quite helpful.
