Fairmont Vancouver Airport - Gold Experience

We stayed at the hotel for a night, it was a wonderful stay! Normally, I am a fan of Marriott hotels. But this time, we see that this hotel is located in the airport and is suits well to our plan, so we didn’t expect much from the hotel. however, it turns out that the services of the staff, and the quality of the room surprised us! This actually help elevates Accor over Bonvoy. Since the hotel is located in the airport, they provide a telescope in the room which we can use to spot airplanes. Overall, it’s a very good hotel, I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family. Fantastic!

Large, luxurious, and clean room had everything needed in a five-start property plus a telescope for plane-spotting and a nice jacuzzi tub. The lounge served excellent food including truffle ravioli, shrimp stuffed mushrooms, and braised beef over vegetables. I stayed one Friday night, so this was a perfect ending for a hard work week.

Very convenient location, Walking distance from the airport gates . Friendly staff , good facilities and rooms .

Great hotel, Gold experience waaaay over rated; $500 /night and the at the lounge I still had to pay for drinks? Nickel and dime show…..

The Gold experience was great but expensive. I don’t recall when booking that I chose this pricey option. Maybe it’s all I was offered. I use this hotel often and have never had a person on the check in desk who speaks good English. It makes checking in hard f after a trans Atlantic flight when it’s 05;00 for me but 20;00 in Vancouver,
