Wagon Wheel Hotel

Stayed 3 nights while visiting Yellowstone. Great location, lots of shops and restaurants near by. Large room, Very clean, loved the lighted ahower Staff very nice, jay at desk was exceptionally helpful and friendly

The employee (Jason) who checked us in was fantastic! He even came out to the parking to help us with our bags. The room looked, smelled and felt clean! Jason made wonderful recommendations as to where to eat.

Nice and quiet area but within a short walking distance to shopping and dining.

It was a cozy cabin located 3 mins from all the amenities! It was very convenient to grab food whether brunch/dinner/dessert! Yellowstone was nearby as well! The property was clean and safe. But the only issue was except 2 outlets none of the outlets were working! We got a 2 bathroom cabin and in one bathroom the outlets were not working at all which was very inconvenient!

Jay was amazing, but even though I had booked a room in the hotel, we ended up in what looked like a garage from the outside, maybe the original hotel,? It was across the parking lot, next to the road, noisy from road traffic, no place to hang towels.

The hotel looked updated, our room had new carpet, new paint, new laminate and the bathroom looked new and updated.

They need to install grab bars by the tub and bath strips to avoid falling. We are older and noticed this was lacking for safety purposes.

Not a great 4 day stay. Check in was confrontational by owner wanting to charge a 200 damage fee. Room was okay sheets were not ironed and the two pieces of bar soap provide was enough for two of us to lather our faces, it was that small. Although the day time attendant was very nice and helpful the breakfast was woefully underwhelming. I think ownership provides a flop house for foreign Chinese tour groups. Overall not a good hotel for independent travelers.
