Hotel Boutique Villas Segovia Cozumel

Home made breakfast, very nice. We walked to the hotel from the port, it was a bit confusing since there is two hotels with the same name, make sure you go by the address and not by the name.

Good location, nice breakfast, nice rooms

The room smelled of very harsh cleaning chemicals for the duration of our two night stay. I believe it was coming from the toilet where they had filled the tank with porta potty blue liquid. Despite our opening the windows, we could not get rid of the stench. No matter how many times we flushed, we could not get rid of the stench. In addition, there are two Villa Segovias on Google Maps and neither address matched the address listed here so it was difficult to find this place. The check in process was a little rocky and confusing. They also charge a small tax even after you have fully paid here.

Nice place to stay, clean and cozy. The breakfast was included and it was good. We had a great experience. The hoste made us feel really good all along. We recommend this place.

The room was super, big and with a lots of light! The staff prepared the room for us in a nice way and the journey was a in familiar environment. Also the rest of the hotel was good

1. The water was not working and this was a big problem 2. The staff is not super good in English and not well informed about the things in the city 3. The breakfast is not for European taste

The good: Nice, large, clean rooms, friendly staff, speaking both English and Spanish, very attentive, treated me very well. The room came with a very reasonable breakfast, lots of fruits etc. Very happy with the above The bad: Didn't sleep much 4 nights out of 7 due to a very noisy bar across the street that closes at 5 am. Perhaps I am sensitive to the low frequency boom ... boom ... boom noise in the middle of the night. The staff changed my room after 2 sleepless nights, but it didn't make any difference, the noise permeated through otherwise silent nights, it was ridiculous. If it wasn't for the noise, I'd give the place 4-5 stars easily. If you can tolerate midnight base and drums, it's a good place to stay, near city center (10 - 15 minutes easy walk), very close to a 'Mega' supermarket. Clean shower, clean bed, mini refrigerator as well as small safe in your room. Again, the staff was super helpful, went out of their way to accommodate me I don't think I'll be coming back, having sleepless nights in otherwise nice place is not my idea of vacation.

Prolonged stay. Great location, very friendly staff, especially Mrs. Daisy was always nice and helpful.

Nothing

1) Room was old and did not look clean (we found a dead cockroach in it - see picture). 2) Very very loud music until 4 am from a nearby pub. We spoke to the security at night and they didn’t really care. 3) My travel companion woke up with several insect bites on her skin, maybe bedbugs??(see pictures) 4) Breakfast was supposed to start at 7am but no one was there at that time so we had to skip it as we had an early excursion. 5) Room view on a dump
