Cozy little "boutique" hotel with friendly, efficient, smiling, helpful staff, especially Yisel. Spacious, comfy rooms with good amenities. Coffeemaker in the room wasn't working, but it was promptly replaced by the staff. Good location (not seafront, obviously) Nice, filling breakfast with eggs, ham, bacon, toast, fruit, coffee, juices.

No English channels on the tv and Netflix etc. and coffee pot did not have coffee pods that fit .

Beautiful colonial style property with wonderful helpful staff. After accidentally booking their third floor suite with spiral staircase, I was kindly moved to a bottom floor room because I have replaced hips knees and back problems. They didn't have to do this but I highly appreciate them accommodating my physical needs. The fresh cooked to order breakfast was wonderful with cereal eggs toast juice coffee and more. Everyone shares a large dining room table and it's a nice place to meet your fellow travelers. The pool is really nice and clean and the whole area feels very private. There's also a large shaded patio and plenty of places to catch the sun. The location is only one block from a large city park with wonderful food carts even late at night on Saturday. It's also a block to the water. If you want to go snorkeling you can easily go to one of the beach clubs right on the water just a block from the hotel. There's a vegetarian restaurant on the same block and also a lunch buffet along with several other wonderful restaurants within a block or two. It's also easy to catch a taxi right out front. If you want you can walk to all the clubs for nightlife with no problem or catch a $5-$8 cab ride. . I think this is a very good choice for people who are on a budget and don't mind not being right on the ocean. The price is right and the quality is very high in my opinion.

Super staff, really friendly and helpful. Felt secure, staff monitoring the front all the time. Spacious room, quiet courtyard setting despite being on the corner of two busy streets, hot shower, huge comfortable bed, good air-con. A substantial breakfast made to order with fresh fruit and different menu choices every day (stayed four nights), served at a large dining table with the other guests which allowed us to socialise and make friends with another couple. Very pleasant and private garden, well-maintained, clean pool, block out curtains, drinking water and coffee pods. Easy walk to town centre.

Streaming service wasn’t available, staff couldn’t access it. Bathroom wasn’t clean on arrival but very quickly resolved. Door knob on our room door wasn’t secure, needs maintenance. Table lamps -one couldn’t be plugged in, the other had a short. Walk-in closet with coat hangars but no rod to hang clothes! Minor points but they just need fixing, not ignoring.
