Fairmont Mountain View Villas

The villa was an unexpected treat in our travels. Our Fairmont Mountain View Villa was on the ground floor and we found that most convenient for unloading groceries etc. The location to golfing, the neighborhood pool, the hot springs or a bit of shopping is very convenient. Our villa was comfortable and clean and had the bonus of a washer & dryer shared with only 1 other rental unit.

The unit is very clean, comfortable bed and has everything you need for a comfortable say.

Pros: Comfortable bed and sofa, hot water, view from the balcony, and a generally quiet and peaceful surround. Good value. The smoke detector went off twice while using the toaster, which had not burnt the toast. After opening the door and window briefly, the detector did silence. The owners were responsive and easy to get ahold of but our first contact with their representative did not respond with assistance for a Wi-Fi disconnect. The owner came to replace it when we notified them. . The king-sized bed was comfortable. Black out curtains. The living room sofa was comfortable enough to settle in for movies.

Cons: noise, light, and not being able to grab for new kitchen linens. Light infused through the interior spaces that left no need for lighting to see your way around before daylight or after nightfall. There were 2 bath towels with 2 that were probably meant to be used as bath towels. Two dishcloths and 1 kitchen towel. It took 3 hours to almost dry the 1 load of laundry, so we did not allocate time for the house linens so had to be very careful with them. Four bowls, 3 plates, Champagne glasses, no wine glasses, they sufficed. 3coffeee cups which were a nice size. Four each of forks and knives. The nearby pool plays loud music for their guests, but only from 10A-8P and being fair, it was not played all of the time.

Just settle in, no need to bring anything.

The living room furniture was a little uncomfortable, needs an upgrade.

Location was good, check in easy, clean..

It said that pets are not allowed, I saw dogs in building and heard them barking. It would be beneficial to have real curtains in bed room since summer is approaching and days are longer.

Comfortable handy location

Light bulbs burned out and not fixed. Food on rugs and crumbs on coffee table lower rim. Dusty Management company not responsive to service requests either day. Refund offered but not received. Management company did not respond to Bookings.com refund request either. Binds need replacing.

It was a wonderful stay.
